The pressure to just keep their heads above water the next two weeks against the Rams and Niners would ratchet up to high levels. They stand at 3-5 and their next three games are against division opponents. They then went to Minnesota and flipped the scenario, losing by eight points after turning the ball over three times themselves. They hosted New Orleans and won by eight points on the strength of the Saints committing three turnovers. This has put a lot of pressure on the offense to carry the team and that has provided mixed results. In their last two games they have given up an average of 34 points and 438 yards, after an effective five game stretch allowing an average of only 19 points and 307 yards. He seems intent on making up for lost time and the offense looks vastly different with him in the game. In two games he has 22 catches on 27 targets for 262 yards and a touchdown. The Seahawks have evened out their performance greatly. If you recall, I found it difficult to put a good Watch Points post together because there was so much randomness to both teams’ play.
Mistakes, disorganization and chaos ruled their games. Neither team had a claim to a good, solid schedule of play.
